The Maintenance Technician is responsible for all maintenance and housekeeping functions of the Brooklyn Hub building site and related areas as well as ensuring that the building and grounds are maintained to the highest standard.

The Maintenance Technician is required to be organized, hardworking, conscientious, and personable and must always be a positive representative of Met Council to the community. The Maintenance Worker will be required to occasionally work evenings or on the weekend.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee all maintenance and housekeeping functions for the Brooklyn Hub building and surrounding areas.
• Ensure the building and grounds are consistently maintained to the highest standard.
• Perform basic repairs, maintenance, and preventative upkeep of the property.
• Serve as a positive representative of the organization to the community.
• Occasionally work evenings or weekends as needed.

Qualifications:

• Prior experience in building maintenance or a related role.
• Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to perform physical tasks as required.
• Hardworking, conscientious, and personable.

Location: Brooklyn, NY

Salary: $25 hourly
