To support this growth, they are hiring a Content Marketing Manager who can take complex financial products and turn them into clear, compelling messaging that customers genuinely understand.

This is not a traditional content role focused on blogs, social media, or brand storytelling. It is a product focused content role at the heart of a product led business.


The Content Marketing Manager will play a critical role in shaping how the company explains its products to the world. Working closely with product, marketing, and commercial teams, they will translate technical product features into messaging that resonates with real people.

The focus of the role is product communication. How are features explained on the website? How do sales teams present the value of the product in conversations with customers? How does the company articulate its proposition in pitch decks, landing pages, onboarding flows, and product materials?

This person will own that narrative.

A large part of the role is writing. The successful candidate will be hands on with content production and comfortable rolling their sleeves up to produce high quality copy themselves. This includes writing product pages, sales enablement materials, customer facing messaging, and structured product content that clearly communicates the value of each feature.

They will also work closely with product teams to ensure that product launches and feature releases are communicated effectively. This means developing clear messaging frameworks, supporting go to market launches, and ensuring internal teams understand how to explain the product to customers.

Customer understanding sits at the centre of the role. The company is looking for someone who is genuinely curious about how customers think and behave. Someone who actively seeks out insights into customer motivations, frustrations, and decision making, and uses those insights to shape messaging and positioning.

The role requires strong collaboration across teams. Product managers, designers, sales teams, and leadership will all rely on this person to help communicate the product clearly and consistently.


The ideal candidate may already be a Content Marketing Manager in a product led technology business, or they may come from a broader marketing background but have strong experience writing product related content.

What matters most is mindset and capability.

This role requires someone who takes full ownership of their work and has the drive to make things happen in a fast moving environment. Our client is a startup style business where people step outside their job descriptions and move quickly to solve problems.

They are looking for someone with a high bar for quality who takes pride in producing exceptional work. A strong writer who can simplify complex ideas, create structure where there is ambiguity, and deliver content that genuinely improves how customers understand the product.

Experience within financial services or fintech is helpful but not essential. Candidates from strong consumer facing technology companies or digital product environments are also highly relevant, particularly if they have experience explaining complex digital products to users.

Most importantly, this person will be deeply customer focused, curious about behaviour and decision making, and motivated by helping people better understand products that can improve their financial lives.
