About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Software Implementation Engineer to lead the end-to-end process of integrating and deploying our software solutions within client organizations. In this role, you will ensure a seamless transition by managing all aspects of implementation, including project planning, system configuration, data migration, user training, and go-live support.  


As a key player in driving successful software adoption, you will collaborate closely with clients and internal teams to understand unique requirements, troubleshoot issues, and deliver a tailored implementation experience. This position requires a detail-oriented professional with strong technical expertise, excellent communication skills, and a passion for empowering end users to achieve success with our solutions. 


What You’ll Do:

  • Project planning and execution: Develop detailed implementation plans, manage project timelines, and allocate resources to effectively execute software rollouts.
  • Requirements gathering: Collaborate with stakeholders to understand their needs and translate them into functional specifications for the software implementation.
  • Configuration and customization: Configure the software to meet specific client requirements, including custom settings and integrations with existing systems.
  • EMR Integration: Familiar with EMR systems (EPIC, Cerner, etc.) and will be responsible for ensuring the OR schedule can be successfully pushed to the company’s software system
  • User training: Work with team members to help develop and deliver comprehensive training programs to educate users on the new software features and functionality.
  • Change management: Facilitate the change management process by communicating updates, addressing concerns, and gaining user buy-in.
  • Testing and quality assurance: Conduct thorough testing to identify and resolve any issues before go-live. Inclusive of helping create and execute the onsite Site Acceptance Report
  • Go-live support: Provide on-site support during the initial launch phase to address any technical or user-related problems.
  • Post-implementation support: Monitor system performance, and address ongoing issues until the customer service department can fully take over the software support (ensure a complete documentation and knowledge transfer transpires).


What We’re Looking For:

  • Technical expertise: Strong understanding of software applications, system architecture, EMR systems, and database concepts.
  • Project management skills: Proven ability to manage complex projects with tight deadlines, including planning, budgeting, and risk mitigation.
  • Communication skills: Excellent written and verbal communication to effectively interact with technical teams, stakeholders, and end users.
  • Stakeholder management: Ability to build relationships with key decision-makers and manage expectations throughout the implementation process.
  • Problem-solving skills: Strong analytical skills to identify and troubleshoot technical issues during implementation.
  • Training delivery skills: Capability to design and deliver engaging training sessions to diverse user groups.

Relevant Experience:

  • Proven track record in successfully managing software implementations across various industries.
  • Experience in project management methodologies
  • Knowledge of specific software applications depending on the industry (EMR, etc.).

Education :

  • Undergraduate or higher in Software Project Management and/or Computer Science or related field
  • 3+ years’ experience as a Software Project Engineer
  • Candidates with EMR integration experience are strongly desired
