Position Overview
As Endear’s Head of Finance, you’ll own all financial operations, planning, and strategy during one of the most exciting stages in our growth. You’ll take over forecasting, budgeting, and audit management from our current third-party provider, bringing these functions in-house and establishing the financial discipline that supports our next phase.
This is a strategic, high-impact role reporting directly to our CEO. You’ll serve as a trusted partner to leadership, driving decision-making with data and helping Endear balance profitability with sustainable growth. You’ll oversee external accounting vendors, prepare board-level reporting, and ultimately shape how the company scales.

What You’ll Accomplish
In your first 6 months, you’ll…
- Take full ownership of Endear’s budget and forecasting processes, delivering accurate and timely financial updates to leadership.
- Identify, select, and manage external vendors for accounting and audit readiness, transitioning away from current third-party support.
- Become the in-house expert on “Endear’s money,” understanding every financial lever that drives performance.
In your first year, you’ll…
- Deliver consistent, accurate cash flow and runway forecasting that leadership can rely on for decision-making.
- Own all financial aspects of board reporting, including modeling, analysis, and key takeaways.
- Lead the company through a successful third-party audit and ensure ongoing compliance.
- Build scalable systems, processes, and dashboards that set the foundation for future growth.
- Partner with every department to drive financial clarity, discipline, and alignment to company goals.
You’ll Thrive in This Role If…
You Have Experience With
- Leading finance at an early-stage B2B SaaS company (ideally Series A–B), understanding SaaS metrics, including CAC, payback period, LTV, and churn.
- Managing budgets, forecasts, and monthly close processes, including running or managing third-party audits and accounting vendors..
- Building financial models that inform hiring plans, pricing strategies, and growth decisions.
- Maintaining strong internal controls and ensuring accuracy under tight timelines, working closely with CEOs and department heads to translate numbers into actionable insights.

External Partners: Accounting, bookkeeping, and audit vendors (to be selected and managed by you).
