Field Technician
Employment Type: Full-Time
Location: Onsite + Client Visits (Charlotte, NC area)
Salary: $45,000 – $70,000

Work Environment & Logistics
- 5 days onsite with 3–4 days per week at client sites
- Fast-paced, client-facing role with hands-on technical work
- Optional on-call participation:
- Paid at $100/hour for after-hours tickets (even short-duration work)

The Opportunity
We are hiring a Field Technician for our Charlotte operations team. This is a hands-on role for someone who can make an immediate impact with minimal oversight. We are targeting candidates with 1–3 years of experience who bring strong fundamentals, curiosity, and a drive to grow within the MSP space.
What You’ll Do
- Provide on-site technical support across a diverse client base
- Diagnose and resolve a wide range of IT issues
- Quickly learn internal tools, systems, and processes
- Act as a client-facing representative, communicating clearly and professionally
- Work in a dynamic environment where no two days are the same
What You’ll Bring
- 1–3 years of experience in a field engineering or technical support role (MSP preferred)
- Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills (hands-on experience prioritized over certifications)
- Ability to quickly learn new technologies and adapt to different environments
- Strong organization, time management, and problem-solving skills
- A “troubleshooter” mindset with a passion for fixing complex issues
- Commitment to continuous learning (home labs, self-study, etc.)
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
