Project Engineer (Infrastructure & Networking)

Employment Type: Full-Time

Salary: $100,000 – $125,000


Logistics: 3 Days Onsite, 2 Days WFH


Position Overview

The Project Engineer (Infrastructure & Networking) is responsible for designing and implementing both cloud and on-premise solutions across client environments. This role focuses on delivering infrastructure, networking, and cloud-based projects while also supporting advanced troubleshooting and escalations.

You will work closely with internal teams and clients to deliver secure, scalable, and efficient technology solutions, with a strong emphasis on Microsoft environments, networking, and infrastructure design.


What You’ll Do

Project Design & Implementation

  • Design and implement cloud and on-premise infrastructure solutions
  • Lead and support projects including:
  • Microsoft 365 migrations (Exchange, Teams, SharePoint)
  • Azure AD / Entra ID environments
  • Virtual Desktop Infrastructure (VDI)
  • Mobile Device Management (MDM)
  • Network infrastructure deployments (LAN/WAN)
  • Cloud backup and disaster recovery solutions
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure successful project delivery

Infrastructure & Networking

  • Design and deploy network environments, including routing, switching, and security
  • Support LAN/WAN technologies, remote access, and VoIP systems
  • Configure and support Windows environments and Microsoft 365 platforms
  • Work with vendors and partners to resolve infrastructure and network issues

Client Engagement & Support

  • Communicate with clients throughout projects, providing updates on progress and changes
  • Support business-critical technologies including servers, networking, and cloud systems
  • Provide advanced troubleshooting for server and network-related issues
  • Assist with escalations across both proactive and reactive teams

Solution Development & Continuous Improvement

  • Assist in developing and recommending technology solutions aligned with client needs
  • Evaluate new tools and platforms to improve efficiency, scalability, and security
  • Research and apply best practices for cloud, networking, and security
  • Provide training and knowledge sharing to internal team members


Qualifications & Experience

Technical Skills

  • Strong ability to design and implement infrastructure and networking solutions
  • Solid understanding of:
  • LAN/WAN technologies
  • Routing, switching, and network security
  • Microsoft 365 and Windows environments
  • Experience with cloud platforms and IT service delivery tools


Experience & Core Skills

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field (preferred)
  • Experience in IT support, infrastructure, or project-based roles
  • 1+ year of customer service or client-facing experience
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving ability
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong documentation and organizational skills
  • Ability to de-escalate technical situations effectively
  • Self-motivated and able to work independently
