Position Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented Accounting & Finance Specialist to oversee day-to-day financial operations, ensure accurate billing and reporting, and provide meaningful financial insights that support business growth. This role combines hands-on accounting with strategic financial analysis, helping leadership make informed decisions while improving operational efficiency in a fast-paced managed services environment.

What You’ll Do

Accounting Operations

• Manage daily accounting functions including Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, reconciliations, and general ledger maintenance
• Oversee financial software and system integrations
• Process customer invoices and ensure accurate recurring billing for managed services agreements and project work
• Reconcile vendor invoices, employee expenses, and credit card transactions

Financial Planning & Reporting

• Prepare monthly and quarterly financial statements, including Profit & Loss, Balance Sheet, and Cash Flow reports
• Track key financial and operational KPIs
• Assist with budgeting, forecasting, revenue planning, and expense management
• Provide timely financial reporting to support executive decision-making

Strategic Finance Support

• Perform cost-benefit analyses and financial modeling to support business growth initiatives
• Identify opportunities to improve financial processes through automation and operational efficiencies
• Assist with vendor negotiations, contract renewals, and software licensing optimization
• Partner with leadership to support strategic planning and long-term financial objectives

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• 3+ years of accounting or finance experience
• Strong understanding of financial reporting, reconciliations, and general accounting principles
• Experience managing recurring billing and contract-based revenue models
• Excellent analytical, organizational, and time management skills
• Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain confidentiality
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment

Preferred

• Experience within a Managed Service Provider (MSP), IT Services, SaaS, or recurring revenue business
• Experience with financial software integrations and process automation
• Familiarity with business intelligence reporting and KPI analysis
