Aircraft Maintenance Engineer (AME)
About the Opportunity
We are seeking a skilled and safety-focused Aircraft Maintenance Engineer (AME) to join a specialized aviation team supporting forestry and aerial operations. This role offers a unique blend of base operations and seasonal fieldwork, providing hands-on experience in a dynamic and mission-driven environment.

Key Responsibilities
- Test, troubleshoot, and maintain aircraft mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical systems
- Perform repairs and adjustments in accordance with technical drawings, manuals, and regulatory standards
- Ensure all maintenance activities comply with manufacturer specifications, Canadian Aviation Regulations, and internal procedures
- Accurately complete work orders, inspection sheets, and maintenance records
- Support safe, efficient, and compliant aircraft operations
- Maintain a clean, organized, and hazard-free work environment
- Participate in shift work, overtime, and seasonal field assignments as required
- Travel to remote field locations within New Brunswick during summer operations
Qualifications & Experience
- Minimum of 3 years of aircraft maintenance experience
- Valid Transport Canada (TCCA) M1 and/or M2 AME license
- Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic capabilities across mechanical and electrical systems
- Experience working in a fast-paced line maintenance environment
- Demonstrated technical aptitude and ability to manage complex maintenance tasks
- Valid Canadian Driver’s License with a clean abstract
- Eligibility to obtain and maintain an airport RAIC pass
- Valid Canadian Passport with ability to travel internationally as required
- Physically capable of lifting up to 50 lbs (22 kg), and working in confined or physically demanding environments
Assets:
- Experience with Air Tractor AT-802, Airbus H125, Daher Kodiak 100, and Pratt & Whitney PT6 engines
