Job Overview:

We are currently seeking a Licensed Structural Engineer to join our Houston, TX office. This role provides an excellent opportunity to apply your leadership skills and advance your career in a collaborative and rewarding environment.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Design structural components for a variety of projects.
  • Conduct structural wood and steel calculations for both commercial and residential projects.
  • Perform reinforced concrete calculations for building slabs, spread footings, and retaining walls.
  • Interpret and apply national codes and standards such as IRC, IBC, ASCE-7, ACI, and AISC.
  • Stay updated on new engineering processes, techniques, and industry standards.
  • Ensure effective design methods and engineering techniques are utilized.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve project issues.
  • Provide technical guidance and mentorship to colleagues.
  • Work independently with minimal supervision while contributing to a collaborative team environment.


Qualifications & Requirements:

  • Education & Experience: Proven experience in structural engineering, preferably with residential and commercial projects.
  • Licensure: Must hold a State of Texas Structural Engineer License (PE).
  • Technical Skills: Strong knowledge of industry codes, design software, and engineering best practices.
  • Soft Skills: Excellent problem-solving, communication, and leadership abilities.
