Job Overview:
We are currently seeking a Licensed Structural Engineer to join our Houston, TX office. This role provides an excellent opportunity to apply your leadership skills and advance your career in a collaborative and rewarding environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design structural components for a variety of projects.
- Conduct structural wood and steel calculations for both commercial and residential projects.
- Perform reinforced concrete calculations for building slabs, spread footings, and retaining walls.
- Interpret and apply national codes and standards such as IRC, IBC, ASCE-7, ACI, and AISC.
- Stay updated on new engineering processes, techniques, and industry standards.
- Ensure effective design methods and engineering techniques are utilized.
- Troubleshoot and resolve project issues.
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to colleagues.
- Work independently with minimal supervision while contributing to a collaborative team environment.
Qualifications & Requirements:

Education & Experience: Proven experience in structural engineering, preferably with residential and commercial projects.

Licensure: Must hold a State of Texas Structural Engineer License (PE).

Technical Skills: Strong knowledge of industry codes, design software, and engineering best practices.
