Summary

The Senior Vice President of Professional Services will lead a team responsible for the development, integration, and operation of technology solutions with clients’ systems in the airline, rail, cruise line, and other sectors. Reporting to the Chief Technology Officer, this role requires collaboration with technology, project management, and account management teams to gather client business requirements, design innovative systems, and create interface specifications and software development requirements.

The SVP will ensure quality control through rigorous evaluation, oversight, and support of integrations between client systems and our proprietary technology, addressing complex client needs effectively and innovatively.

Essential Functions

  • Lead client engagements, including on-site operations research, to develop service initiatives.
  • Engage with clients to clarify project requirements and ensure alignment with their business needs.
  • Act as a senior operations research resource, resolving problems and documenting findings with alternative solutions.
  • Identify service gaps and propose strategic software enhancements to improve client outcomes.
  • Build and maintain close working relationships with internal teams and external clients.
  • Oversee integration projects and manage the primary client contact team for successful delivery.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather business requirements and develop detailed system specifications.
  • Lead a team of integration managers to deliver high-quality, detailed requirements for development.
  • Provide regular project updates to senior technology management.
  • Partner with account management teams to ensure consistent delivery on client expectations.

Required Skills, Education, and Experience

  • Experience:
  • 15+ years in business systems integrations and/or airline, rail, or cruise crew management & scheduling systems.
  • Minimum of 7 years in a leadership/people management role.
  • Education:
  • Bachelor’s degree in operations research, computer science, or related field (Master’s degree preferred).
  • Core Competencies:
  • Leadership and Communication: Proven ability to lead teams and maintain strong client relationships.
  • Strategic Planning: Expertise in aligning system integration strategies with business objectives.
  • Change Management: Skilled in driving smooth organizational transitions.
  • Technical Acumen: Strong knowledge of Application Programming Interface (API) technologies and client interfaces.
  • Operations Research: Advanced problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Project Management: Experience managing complex projects from start to finish.
  • Quality Assurance: Ability to evaluate and oversee technology integration applications.
  • Certifications: PMP, PRINCE2, CBAP, or similar credentials are a plus.

Position Details

  • Type: Full-time, Monday through Friday (core business hours with occasional nights/weekends as needed).
  • Travel: Up to 20%.
  • Supervisory Responsibility: Yes.

Compensation

Annual salary range: $180,000 - $200,000 (commensurate with experience).
