FULL-TIME FACULTY POSITION IN FLIGHT OPERATIONS
We are actively seeking a dedicated full-time faculty member to specialize in flight operations for our esteemed aviation program, scheduled to start in the Fall of 2024. This role is vital for molding the future of aviation through comprehensive education and practical training.
The ideal candidate should possess a master's degree in fields such as aviation, aerospace, engineering, or management, with a preference for those holding a doctorate. Previous teaching experience is not mandatory but will be considered a plus. The position requires the candidate to have FAA ground or flight instructor certification, with the ability to teach private, instrument, and commercial ground school courses—multi-engine certification is preferred.
Experience in turbine/jet operations is highly desirable, particularly if combined with FAA part 121 or 135 experience. The appointed faculty member will be responsible for delivering 24 credit hours per year within our accredited aviation program, advising students, pursuing professional development, and actively engaging in the broader community of the institution.
