Sales Manager – Domestic Freight Brokerage (On-Site in Jefferson City, MO)

Compensation: $150K base + bonus/commission structure

We're hiring a Sales Manager to build, lead, and scale a high-performing sales division for a growing domestic freight brokerage. This is an on-site leadership role based in Jefferson City, MO — perfect for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and knows how to drive revenue through strategy, mentorship, and relentless execution.

What You’ll Do:

  • Lead the development of a new sales team focused on domestic freight brokerage
  • Hire, train, and mentor Inside and Outside Sales Representatives
  • Create sales strategies and KPIs to drive sustainable growth
  • Collaborate with operations to ensure seamless service and customer satisfaction
  • Establish and grow relationships with shippers across multiple verticals
  • Monitor team performance, provide regular feedback, and scale the team over time
  • Maintain a pulse on market trends, customer demands, and competitive positioning

What We’re Looking For:

  • Proven experience in freight brokerage sales (LTL, TL, or intermodal)
  • Prior leadership experience — you've managed a sales team and delivered results
  • Deep knowledge of shipper engagement, rate negotiation, and margin strategy
  • Strategic thinker with a track record of scaling business units or new divisions
  • On-site availability in Jefferson City, MO — this is not a remote opportunity
  • Strong CRM and sales tech skills (Salesforce, HubSpot, or similar)
  • A team-first mindset and passion for developing people
