Job Description:

We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Global Sales Representative to join our team in Houston. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in freight forwarding and logistics, with a proven track record of generating new business and maintaining strong client relationships. This role requires exceptional communication skills, a strategic mindset, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify and develop new business opportunities in global markets.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, providing exceptional customer service.
  • Conduct market research to understand industry trends and customer needs.
  • Prepare and deliver compelling sales presentations and proposals.
  • Negotiate contracts and close sales deals.
  • Collaborate with the operations team to ensure smooth execution of shipments.
  • Meet and exceed sales targets and KPIs.
  • Keep up-to-date with industry developments and competitor activities.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Logistics, or a related field.
  • 3+ years of sales experience in the freight forwarding or logistics industry.
  • Proven track record of achieving sales targets.
  • Strong understanding of global shipping regulations and practices.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM software.
  • Willingness to travel as required.
