Job Description
Qualified candidates will have a BSCE degree, California Registration as a Professional Civil Engineer (Strongly Preferred), plus a minimum of ten (10) years of relevant experience in land development and/or public works (required); or the equivalent work experience of twelve (12) years in the industry. Qualified candidates will also have a minimum of eight (8) years of management experience supervising engineers, designers, and project support staff.

Management Experience Must Include:
- Supervision of engineering design teams.

- Extensive experience with client and public-agency interactions.
Technical Experience Must Include:
- Site assessment and conducting engineering design studies (incorporating infrastructure and regulatory requirements).
- Preparation/processing of regulatory plans.
- Preparation/processing of public improvement plans for public agencies and capital improvement projects.
- Preparation/processing of plans to support land development projects.
- Expert-level experience with Los Angeles and Ventura County Public Works processing.
- Ability to perform constructability reviews.
- Experience providing a range of construction support services.
Software Proficiency Required:
- AutoCAD/Civil 3D
- Microsoft Projects
- Bluebeam
Additional Skills:
- Application of engineering principles, techniques, and procedures in design.
- Strong knowledge of business and management principles, including strategic planning, resource allocation, leadership, production procedures, interview and hiring processes.
- Ability to take responsibility for directing, controlling, and planning design team efforts.
- Strong jurisdictional processing knowledge.
