Job Summary:
We are looking for a driven and dynamic Inside Sales Executive with experience in Domestic Brokerage to join our team. This role is focused on generating new business, growing a dedicated client portfolio, and delivering exceptional service. The ideal candidate has a strong understanding of domestic freight brokerage, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and is passionate about building long-term customer relationships.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain strong partnerships with shippers across the U.S. through proactive outreach, including cold and warm calls
- Identify client shipping needs, challenges, and pain points; create tailored domestic brokerage solutions that align with their goals
- Consistently meet or exceed business development KPIs and financial targets
- Utilize market research to identify trends, competitive threats, and new opportunities within the domestic freight market
- Execute follow-up strategies to convert warm leads into active customers
- Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned customers, managing day-to-day communications and service updates
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date information in CRM and internal systems
- Collaborate closely with operations and carrier teams to ensure seamless service execution
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 1 year of business-to-business sales experience, with a strong preference for experience in domestic brokerage or logistics
- High school diploma or GED required; bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, sales, or logistics preferred
- Demonstrated ability to prospect and close new business (hunter mentality)
- Strong negotiation and relationship-building skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to multitask and manage multiple customer accounts effectively
- High attention to detail and strong organizational skills
- Creative problem-solver with a positive, proactive mindset
- Team-oriented with a strong customer-first approach
- Bilingual skills are a plus
