Job Summary:

We are looking for a driven and dynamic Inside Sales Executive with experience in Domestic Brokerage to join our team. This role is focused on generating new business, growing a dedicated client portfolio, and delivering exceptional service. The ideal candidate has a strong understanding of domestic freight brokerage, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and is passionate about building long-term customer relationships.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain strong partnerships with shippers across the U.S. through proactive outreach, including cold and warm calls
  • Identify client shipping needs, challenges, and pain points; create tailored domestic brokerage solutions that align with their goals
  • Consistently meet or exceed business development KPIs and financial targets
  • Utilize market research to identify trends, competitive threats, and new opportunities within the domestic freight market
  • Execute follow-up strategies to convert warm leads into active customers
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned customers, managing day-to-day communications and service updates
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date information in CRM and internal systems
  • Collaborate closely with operations and carrier teams to ensure seamless service execution
  • Other duties as assigned



Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 1 year of business-to-business sales experience, with a strong preference for experience in domestic brokerage or logistics
  • High school diploma or GED required; bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, sales, or logistics preferred
  • Demonstrated ability to prospect and close new business (hunter mentality)
  • Strong negotiation and relationship-building skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to multitask and manage multiple customer accounts effectively
  • High attention to detail and strong organizational skills
  • Creative problem-solver with a positive, proactive mindset
  • Team-oriented with a strong customer-first approach
  • Bilingual skills are a plus
