Solutions Engineer – Network Design & Supply Chain Optimization

We are seeking a Solutions Engineer focused on Network Design & Supply Chain Optimization to support the development of data-driven logistics solutions and engineered supply chain strategies.

This role blends analytics, consulting, and engineering to help design, optimize, and improve transportation and distribution networks for a diverse customer base. You will play a key role in building scalable, efficient solutions that drive measurable value across supply chain operations.

What You’ll Do

• Analyze large datasets to identify trends, performance gaps, and optimization opportunities across transportation and supply chain networks
• Design and model network optimization strategies, including routing, distribution, and capacity planning
• Develop data-driven value propositions and present actionable recommendations to internal and external stakeholders
• Support the creation of engineered solutions that improve efficiency, reduce costs, and enhance service levels
• Identify and execute initiatives that improve customer supply chain performance and internal operational processes
• Build and refine standard operating procedures and scalable solution frameworks
• Assist in proposal development and solution design for new and existing business opportunities

What You’ll Need

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related analytical field (or equivalent experience)
• 1+ year of experience in supply chain, logistics, transportation, network design, or a related function
• Strong analytical skills with experience in data mining, modeling, and performance analysis
• Proficiency in tools such as Excel, Access, or Microsoft BI for analyzing and visualizing data

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with network design and modeling tools such as Llamasoft (Supply Chain Guru), ILOG, or similar platforms
• Exposure to supply chain network optimization, modeling, or redesign projects
• Lean or continuous improvement experience
• Strong presentation and communication skills
• Advanced Microsoft Access skills, including VBA
• Project management experience with the ability to manage multiple initiatives
