POSITION TITLE:

Senior Product Manager – DC Systems

POSITION SUMMARY:

The Senior Product Manager – DC Systems will drive the product vision and roadmap that supports the Supply Chain, focusing on managing technology within DC Operations. This role contributes to the broader vision of the technology suite needed to balance Network Optimization with operational constraints. The ideal candidate has a curious and collaborative mindset and is comfortable developing strong partnerships with diverse stakeholders and cross-functional teams. This role requires a strong problem solver with a track record of product innovation in the supply chain/inventory domain. As a major contributor to this critical product portfolio, the Senior Product Manager will be both a coach and a player—guiding and contributing to a team that is transforming its day-to-day operations to meet the demands of a global, omni-channel world.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Drive cross-functional teams of both business roles and technical development during the life cycle of product development for the Manhattan Active Warehouse Management System, Warehouse Execution Systems, and key Material Handling Equipment.
  • Collaborate with key stakeholders to develop product-line upgrade/implementation strategy.
  • Develop detailed requirements and feature definitions.
  • Lead the prioritization of WMS features and understand the art of sequencing their delivery within an agile framework.
  • Contribute to leadership teams to develop and track OKRs and other system metrics.
  • Partner with IT on development, testing & implementation plans, as well as internal communications & deployment plans.
  • Collaborate with internal business partners to refine requirements and define enhancements, creating buy-in from other teams as necessary.
  • Vet scope, requirements, use case/user scenario, test case documents, and design specifications in partnership with other product managers, QA, and design.
  • Proactively identify issues and work with internal partners to understand options and execute solutions.
  • Synthesize business requirements, identify areas of uncertainty, recommend solutions, gather buy-in from relevant stakeholders, roll solutions out to teams, and oversee features through development.
  • Develop metrics to measure the success of program features, analyze results, and collaborate across the organization to develop action plans and enhancement recommendations.
  • Partner with software vendors to resolve issues and define enhancements.
  • Support the WMS solution post go-live and enhancements.
  • Additional projects and responsibilities as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Supply Chain, or Computer Science.
  • Experience with one of the major Warehouse Management Systems (Manhattan, Blue Yonder, Korber, etc.).
  • 3-5 years of experience in product management with a successful history of launching highly effective products for large transactional websites.
  • 5+ years of experience in warehouses.
  • Strong understanding of Google Suite of products.
  • High degree of proficiency with JIRA and Agile framework toolset.
  • Strong analytical, prioritizing, interpersonal, problem-solving, presentation, and project management skills (from conception to completion).
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Demonstrated collaborative skills and ability to work well within a team.
  • Ability to work with and influence peers and senior management.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced and deadline-oriented environment.
  • Self-motivated with critical attention to detail, deadlines, and reporting.

PAY/BENEFITS INFORMATION:

  • Actual starting pay is determined by various factors, including but not limited to relevant experience and location.
