$130k-$200k Base + Super + Bonus


What they look for in an FX BDM


Client Origination & Network

  • Someone with established corporate or institutional FX relationships.
  • Ability to originate new clients (corporates, hedge funds, asset managers, high-volume professional traders).
  • Brings an existing portfolio or at least a proven path to opening new business quickly.


Product & Market Understanding

  • Comfortable positioning both plain-vanilla FX and more structured solutions.
  • Strong grasp of FX flows, hedging strategies, risk management, and how corporates manage exposure.
  • Awareness of cross-asset opportunities (commodities, rates, derivatives) since they want to cross-sell across their wider product suite.


Revenue Orientation

  • Clear track record of hitting or exceeding revenue targets.
  • Commercially sharp: understands spreads, volumes, and the economics of FX sales.


Stakeholder Management

  • Ability to engage CFOs, Treasurers, Fund Managers, and large professional trading accounts.
  • Credibility in front of senior decision-makers.


Hunting Mindset with Strategic Overlay

  • Immediate focus is new logos and flow.
  • Medium-term is embedding clients deeper into the wider product ecosystem (cross-asset, clearing, derivatives).


Other qualities

  • Entrepreneurial but with an institutional polish.
  • Used to a high-performance environment where compliance, risk, and regulation are tightly monitored.
