The Opportunity


As a Business Development Manager, you’ll own a defined growth vertical — driving new client acquisition, managing complex deal cycles, and partnering with CFOs, Treasurers, and Finance Directors to deliver meaningful impact.


You’ll be walking into a business that’s already generating a high volume of qualified leads through inbound and referral channels — but where there’s still huge scope to drive outbound strategy, build partnerships, and open new verticals.


You’ll have direct access to the founders and executive team — highly credible operators with deep backgrounds across payments, FX, and financial services. You’ll be part of the core growth engine as the company enters its next scale-up phase.


The Role


Title: Business Development Manager – FX + SaaS

Base: $120k–$180k + uncapped upside

Location: Sydney or Melbourne (Hybrid, Flexible)


You’ll:


  • Build and execute a sales plan focused on CFO, Treasury, and Finance leadership
  • Manage full-cycle sales from prospecting through to close
  • Deliver complex, consultative pitches that combine SaaS and FX value propositions
  • Partner closely with marketing and product teams to refine the go-to-market strategy
  • Represent the brand at industry events, demos, and roundtables
  • Contribute to the commercial strategy as part of a tight, high-performance team


About You


You’re commercially sharp, resilient, and love the chase. You think strategically about value and understand how to win trust at senior levels.

You’re just as comfortable in a boardroom conversation about risk and treasury as you are running a fast-paced sales process. You bring credibility, curiosity, and a genuine hunger to build something — not just sell it.


You’ll bring:


  • 2–5+ years in new business development (FX, dealing, payments, or treasury solutions)
  • Experience selling SaaS or platform-based solutions into finance functions
  • A track record of hitting and exceeding targets in high-growth environments
  • Strong closing skills and a consultative sales approach
  • A natural network across finance and treasury decision-makers
