Position: Workers’ Compensation Attorney (Defense)
Compensation: $110K–$135K + strong bonus potential
Schedule: Full-time, with hybrid flexibility after onboarding

About the Opportunity
A highly respected, long-established Florida law firm (AV-rated, award-winning workplace) is seeking an experienced Workers’ Compensation Associate who can step into a busy caseload and contribute immediately. What You’ll Do (Core Responsibilities)
- Lead and manage a full caseload of workers’ compensation defense matters from intake through final resolution.
- Conduct depositions, mediations, hearings, and prepare for trial when necessary.
- Draft and develop high-quality pleadings, motions, briefs, and other litigation documents.
- Build litigation strategy in partnership with senior attorneys and clients.
- Provide timely updates, case analyses, and strategic guidance to clients.
- Stay up to date on Florida’s evolving workers’ compensation laws.
- Collaborate closely with partners, legal assistants, and paralegals for efficient case execution.
- Mentor support staff (as needed) to drive case progress.

✔ Experience & Background
- 5+ years of Workers’ Compensation defense experience (required)
- Licensed and in good standing with the Florida Bar
- Strong litigation and courtroom experience, including handling cases through trial

- Confident handling a fast-paced, high-volume litigation docket
- Excellent communication and client-facing abilities
- Strong ethical judgment and dedication to client advocacy
