Compensation: $55,000 – $65,000 annually plus bonus

Position Summary
The firm is looking for an experienced Legal Assistant who is proactive, detail-oriented, and able to handle the fast-paced demands of a plaintiff trial practice. The ideal candidate will bring prior experience in plaintiff personal injury and/or medical malpractice litigation and thrive in a supportive, team-oriented culture.
Key Responsibilities
- Support attorneys through all phases of personal injury and medical malpractice litigation.
- Draft, edit, and proofread legal documents such as pleadings, discovery responses, and correspondence.
- Manage and maintain electronic and physical case files, ensuring accurate filing with courts.
- Coordinate and schedule depositions, mediations, hearings, and trials.
- Communicate with clients, experts, and court personnel in a professional manner.
- Track deadlines and manage calendars to ensure timely filings and case progress.
Qualifications
- Minimum 2+ years of experience as a Legal Assistant in litigation (plaintiff personal injury or medical malpractice strongly preferred).
- Strong knowledge of litigation procedures, filing systems, and trial preparation.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize effectively.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and case management software.
