We have an immediate opening for an experienced Registered Professional Land Surveyor (RPLS) for our East Austin office. We are currently searching for a candidate with excellent technical experience and the ability to work in a fast-paced work environment on major commercial and residential projects. Must be self-motivated and require little to no supervision.
Summary
The Texas Registered Professional Land Surveyor is a licensed professional who acts as an authorized agent of the company and is responsible for delivering high quality professional land survey services that meet client objectives, contract requirements, federal and local safety standards, company policies, and project deliverables that are completed within budget and on time. This person may be responsible for assisting with marketing, business development, project management, client communication on a limited, or assigned basis.

Extent of Authority
Has authority to act in a professional capacity on survey projects and will sign the work product as a registered professional land surveyor.

Must exhibit maturity, professionalism, and a willingness to be a part of the Team. The right person will have excellent opportunities for managerial growth and business leadership, with potential opportunities for becoming an owner in the firm. The individual is expected to learn organizational policies and be ready to assist higher level staff to ensure project deadlines are met without loss of quality. He or she must relate well to staff members, provide necessary technical guidance and assist in their continuing professional advancement. He or she is expected to maintain membership in the Texas Society of Professional Surveyors.

Physical Demands/Work Environment
Must be willing to work at the office headquarters Monday through Friday, approximately 50 hours per week. May be considered for occasional travel on short- or long-term assignments to client locations to complete assigned work.
