- Monitor project schedules, budgets, quality standards, and production goals.
- Conduct site walks, inspections, and progress meetings.
- Communicate project updates clearly and professionally with ownership, clients, residents, vendors, and internal teams.
- Identify and resolve construction challenges proactively to maintain project momentum.
- Maintain accurate project records, reports, schedules, daily logs, and documentation.
- Utilize construction management software and digital tools to track project progress and communicate updates.
- Ensure compliance with all safety regulations, building codes, and company standards.
- Assist with project planning, sequencing, logistics, and execution from start to finish.
- Lead and motivate field teams while fostering accountability and collaboration.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience managing multifamily renovation, rehabilitation, repositioning, or value-add construction projects.
- Strong knowledge of construction methods, sequencing, building systems, and jobsite operations.
- Proven ability to communicate effectively with clients, ownership groups, subcontractors, and internal teams.
- Experience managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced construction environment.
- Strong organizational and documentation skills.
- Proficiency with construction management software, project tracking systems, Microsoft Office, and mobile technology.
- Ability to read and interpret construction drawings, specifications, and project documents.
- Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to coordinate and direct field personnel.
- Valid driver's license and ability to travel between project sites as needed.
Preferred Experience
- Multifamily renovation and occupied renovation projects.
- Capital improvement projects.
- Value-add apartment community renovations.
- Interior and exterior rehabilitation projects.
- Tenant-occupied construction environments.
- Experience working with project management platforms such as Procore, Buildertrend, Bluebeam, or similar systems.
What We're Looking For
The ideal candidate brings a balanced skill set that combines:
- Exceptional communication abilities.
- Strong construction field knowledge.
- Comfort with technology and project management systems.
- Detailed documentation and reporting practices.
