The MAC Supervisor is responsible for overseeing all workplace move, add, and change (MAC) requests to ensure efficient, safe, and timely execution. This role requires strong project management, leadership, and technical problem-solving skills to coordinate daily work orders, manage inventory, supervise the moves crew, and maintain compliance with company policies and safety standards.


Key Responsibilities

Project & Work Order Management

  • Manage and prioritize all MAC requests to ensure completion within requested timelines.
  • Review and process daily work orders in Archibus with a craftsperson’s perspective.
  • Submit daily timesheets and provide leadership with work order updates, including completed tasks.
  • Escalate any incomplete work orders and identify required resources for resolution.
  • Fulfill non-furniture requests (e.g., cubicle reconfigurations, signage corrections, workstation component installations) within 7 business days.
  • For furniture-related requests:
  • Inspect breezeway storage for newly delivered items.
  • Install goods (e.g., panels, monitor arms, sit-stands, seating) within 7 days of arrival.
  • Maintain productivity targets: average 10 work orders per day and assembly of 2 sit-stands daily.

Audit & Inventory Management

  • Conduct quarterly audits (conference rooms, chairs, and workstations) to ensure all spaces and equipment are functional.
  • Oversee inventory of workstation components, including keys, lighting, and other assets.
  • Provide updates on component availability to ensure timely fulfillment of requests.

Supervision & Leadership

  • Serve as liaison between Global Real Estate & Workplace Services and the client, ensuring smooth execution of MAC projects.
  • Supervise the moves crew, ensuring compliance with company policies, safety protocols, and property management guidelines.
  • Coordinate with security for controlled access to lab areas, submitting access requests via the SAFE portal.
  • Lead by example by completing daily work orders alongside the crew (e.g., 2 sit-stands + 10 non-furniture requests).
  • Provide direct supervision, guidance, and coaching to at least one direct report twice per week to support consistent team performance.

Safety & Vehicle Operations

  • Ensure full compliance with safety procedures and reinforce safe work practices across the moves crew.
  • Safely operate a 26’ bobtail truck in accordance with driving regulations to transport furniture and equipment to and from job sites.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in facilities, workplace services, or a related field with a focus on move/add/change project management.
  • Strong knowledge of furniture systems, workstation components, and general workplace setup.
  • Prior supervisory or team lead experience required.
  • Ability to manage multiple work orders and prioritize under tight deadlines.
  • Skilled in auditing, inventory management, and reporting.
  • Proficient in workplace systems such as Archibus (or similar).
  • Valid driver’s license with experience operating commercial vehicles (26’ bobtail truck).
  • Excellent communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
  • Commitment to enforcing safety standards and company policies.
