A well-established, family-owned agricultural equipment dealership in New Brunswick is looking to expand its sales team by adding an Inside Equipment Sales Representative. This role is ideal for a motivated and customer-focused sales professional who enjoys working with agricultural producers and equipment owners while helping them identify the right solutions for their operations.
The Inside Equipment Sales Representative will play an important role in promoting both new and used agricultural equipment, supporting customers through the purchasing process, and building long-term relationships within the agricultural community.
Key Responsibilities
- Promote and sell new and used agricultural equipment to customers.
- Identify sales opportunities and generate new leads within the market.
- Conduct sales calls and meetings with prospective customers.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with both new and existing customers.
- Demonstrate equipment features and benefits to help customers make informed purchasing decisions.
- Conduct equipment demonstrations and provide training when required.
- Attend and support industry trade shows and events.
- Coordinate transportation and delivery of sold equipment.
- Promote related parts and service offerings to customers.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of equipment features, benefits, and competitive products.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in agricultural equipment or machinery sales is considered a strong asset.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities to help customers find the right equipment solutions.
- Self-motivated with strong organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment.
- High level of integrity and professionalism when interacting with customers and colleagues.
- Comfortable adapting communication style to different personalities and customer needs.
- Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Excel and Outlook.
- Bilingual (English/French) candidates will be given strong consideration.
- Valid driver’s license required.
Work Environment
This role involves a combination of office-based work, customer visits, trade show participation, and travel within the region. A company vehicle will be provided. Some evening and weekend work may be required depending on seasonal demand and industry events.
