A well-established and respected agricultural equipment dealership near Moncton, NB is seeking an experienced and motivated Equipment Sales Representative to join its growing sales team. This full-time position will focus primarily on the sale of compact and utility tractors, while supporting customers with a broad range of agricultural equipment solutions.
This is an excellent opportunity for a driven sales professional who enjoys building relationships, identifying customer needs, and helping clients find the right equipment to support their operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Promote and sell new and used agricultural equipment to existing and prospective customers
- Identify and develop new sales opportunities within the assigned territory
- Conduct sales calls, customer visits, and prospecting activities
- Present equipment features and benefits while differentiating products from competing brands
- Perform equipment demonstrations and provide customer training as required
- Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with customers
- Attend and represent the company at industry events, trade shows, and exhibitions
- Coordinate equipment deliveries and transportation logistics
- Support the promotion and sale of parts and service offerings
- Maintain a strong understanding of current product lines, industry trends, and competitor offerings
- Achieve sales targets while providing exceptional customer service
Qualifications
- Previous experience in agricultural equipment sales or a related sales role is preferred
- Strong understanding of agricultural equipment, tractors, or the agricultural industry would be considered an asset
- Proven ability to build relationships and close sales opportunities
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Self-motivated, dependable, and results-oriented
- Ability to adapt to different customer personalities and work effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Basic proficiency with Microsoft Outlook, Excel, and other computer applications
- Bilingual (English/French) candidates will be given strong consideration
- Valid driver's license required
Work Environment
This role involves a combination of:
- Office-based work
- Customer site visits
- Travel throughout the territory
- Attendance at trade shows and industry events
A company vehicle will be provided for business use. Occasional evening and weekend work may be required.
