We are looking for an experienced Accounting Technician to join our client's team, based out of the Charlottetown, PEI.
Responsibilities:
- Accounts payable processing and reviews with ERP system.
- Accounts receivable functions with volumes and deadlines.
- Preparation of journal entries.
- Various reconciliations and reviews.
- Communication with tenants and/or vendors
- ERP data entry.
- Assist other team members when needed.
- Work on Ad Hoc projects assigned by the manager.
Education and Professional Skills/Knowledge:
- Ideally, some experience in hands-on, bookkeeping and full cycle accounting exposure.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office computer programs (Outlook, Excel and Word).
- Great attention to detail.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal and organizational skills.
- Ability to prioritize workloads, and manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
- Previous experience working in accounting is considered an asset.
- A positive attitude.
