Position Overview
Our Client, an established construction team is seeking experienced EIFS Plasterers to contribute to high-quality exterior finish projects across the Maritime provinces. Key Responsibilities
- Assist with setup and takedown of scaffolding and safety equipment
- Install complete EIFS systems, including:
- Air barriers, foam insulation, mesh, base coats, trims, and finish coats
- Prepare substrate surfaces for EIFS application
- Apply adhesives or mechanical fasteners to install insulation boards
- Rasp insulation and shape decorative mouldings, trims, and architectural elements
- Embed mesh and apply base coats evenly for a smooth surface
- Apply finishing coats to meet design and project requirements
- Perform EIFS repairs, patches, and replacements as needed
- Maintain clean and organized work areas and follow safety practices at all times
Work Conditions
- On-site work across various locations in the Maritime provinces
- Outdoor work with exposure to varying temperatures, including hot and cold conditions
- Frequent work at heights using scaffolding systems
Requirements
Experience:
- 3–5 years of experience in EIFS, stucco, or plastering
Certifications:
- WHMIS certification (required)
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to lift up to 75 lbs
- Frequent bending, kneeling, crouching, and standing for extended periods
- Strong hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity
- Comfortable working under pressure and meeting tight deadlines
Tools & Equipment:
- Must supply own hard hat and steel-toed safety boots
