A leading heavy equipment dealership in Atlantic Canada is seeking a Road (Field) Heavy Equipment Technician to support customers in the Halifax region. This is a fully mobile role with a company-provided service truck, reporting to the Regional Service Manager based in New Brunswick.

Responsibilities:

• Travel to customer sites within Nova Scotia to diagnose, service, and repair heavy equipment
• Perform preventative maintenance and emergency repairs in the field
• Troubleshoot mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical systems
• Complete service reports and maintain accurate documentation
• Communicate effectively with customers and internal teams
• Ensure a high level of customer service and professionalism at all times

Requirements:

• Licensed Heavy Equipment Technician (preferred) or strong equivalent experience
• Proven diagnostic and repair skills across diesel, hydraulic, and electrical systems
• Ability to work independently in a field-based role
• Strong communication and customer service skills
• Valid driver’s license (clean abstract required); passport considered an asset
