Position Summary
Our client, A well-established construction team is seeking a qualified EIFS Supervisor to oversee daily operations and lead a crew of EIFS plasterers across various projects in the Maritime provinces. This leadership position is suited for someone with hands-on EIFS installation experience, combined with strong communication and organizational abilities.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate a team of EIFS plasterers on-site
- Plan daily operations and assign tasks to meet project goals
- Oversee proper installation of all EIFS components, including:
- Air barriers, foam insulation, base coats, mesh, decorative trims, and finish coats
- Conduct regular quality assurance checks to maintain project standards
- Provide training and mentorship to team members on best practices and site safety
- Act as a liaison between project managers, clients, and crew members
- Ensure compliance with workplace health and safety protocols
- Troubleshoot site issues and provide hands-on assistance when necessary
- Track and document daily site progress, attendance, and materials usage
- Oversee scaffolding setup and installation in accordance with engineer drawings
Work Conditions
- On-site supervision at multiple locations across the Maritime provinces
- Work performed at heights and in varying outdoor weather conditions (hot/cold)
- Willingness to travel and work away from home as needed
Qualifications
Experience:
- Minimum 5 years of hands-on EIFS, stucco, or plastering experience
- At least 2 years in a leadership or supervisory role
- 2+ years of scaffolding experience
Certifications (Required/Preferred):
- WHMIS certification (required)
- Fall Protection, First Aid, and other safety-related certifications (preferred)
- Valid Canadian Class 5 driver’s licence
Physical Requirements:
- Able to lift up to 35 kg (75 lbs)
- Frequent kneeling, bending, crouching, and standing for long periods
- High physical stamina and manual dexterity
- Comfortable with repetitive tasks over extended hours
Tools & Equipment:
- Own steel-toe boots required
- Must provide own EIFS tools and accessories
