A growing and fast-paced production facility in Prince Edward Island is seeking motivated and dependable Harvesters to join their team. This is a hands-on role within a collaborative production environment focused on quality, efficiency, and teamwork. This position is being offered as a full-time contract opportunity with the potential to become permanent based on performance and business needs.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate and clean trimming machines and related equipment
• Perform hand-trimming and plant processing tasks as required
• Maintain product quality by identifying and handling defects appropriately
• Complete daily, weekly, and monthly cleaning and sanitation duties
• Keep workspaces clean, organized, and compliant with company standards
• Assist Plant Technicians and Team Leads with overall plant care as needed
• Follow all Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and health & safety guidelines
• Support a positive and team-oriented work environment

Work Environment

This position works within both greenhouse and harvest processing environments, including:

• Loud machinery and production equipment
• Cool processing areas (approximately 17°C)
• Greenhouse conditions with high heat and humidity (30+°C / 55%+ humidity)
• Exposure to strong plant aromas and cleaning products
• Bright LED lighting and physically active work conditions

Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand, walk, bend, lift, push, and pull throughout an 8-hour shift
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs regularly
• Comfortable performing repetitive tasks with strong attention to detail
• Ability to work independently and safely within a team setting
• Must be able to wear required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), including respirators when required

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Agriculture, horticulture, greenhouse, production, or manufacturing experience considered an asset
• Strong work ethic and attention to detail
• Reliable transportation required
• Must be 19 years of age or older
• Criminal record check required following offer of employment

Compensation & Schedule

• Full-time contract position with potential for permanent employment
