About the Opportunity


A well-established heavy equipment organization in Fredericton, NB is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Service Administrator to support its Service Department. This is a fast-paced, customer-focused role ideal for someone who enjoys administration, multitasking, and working in a hands-on industrial environment.


The Service Administrator plays a critical role in ensuring service operations run smoothly by supporting work order processing, technician billing, warranty administration, and inventory coordination.


Key Responsibilities


  • Administer and manage service work orders from open to close
  • Process and track technician labour hours for accurate billing
  • Prepare invoices for customers and internal departments
  • Administer warranty claims and ensure proper documentation and submissions
  • Support the sales team by helping manage inbound and outbound equipment flow
  • Track equipment inventory and unit movements
  • Provide administrative support to the Service Manager and Branch leadership
  • Maintain organized service records and files
  • Assist with additional office and operational support as required


Qualifications & Skills


  • Post-secondary education in Business Administration or a related field is considered an asset
  • Previous experience in an administrative, service, or equipment-based role is preferred
  • Strong computer skills and comfort working with service or ERP systems
  • Excellent organizational and time management abilities
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Professional communication and customer service skills
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, changing environment
  • Interest in heavy equipment or mechanical environments is a strong asset
  • Willingness to work full-time (40+ hours/week)
