The Opportunity
We are seeking an experienced Construction Project Manager to oversee large-scale projects valued at $25M+. The successful candidate will provide strong leadership throughout all project phases — from pre-construction planning to final handover — ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest standard. This is a high-impact role that requires strong financial acumen, exceptional organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple stakeholders across complex builds.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage all phases of construction projects, ensuring delivery on schedule, budget, and scope.
- Lead and coordinate multidisciplinary teams including site supervisors, subcontractors, consultants, and engineers.
- Oversee project budgets, forecasts, and financial reporting, ensuring accurate cost control and resource allocation.
- Serve as the main point of contact for clients, maintaining strong relationships and ensuring client satisfaction.
- Identify and mitigate risks while implementing proactive solutions to keep projects on track.
- Ensure compliance with all safety standards, building codes, and quality control measures.
- Review and manage contracts, change orders, RFI’s, and project documentation.
- Apply technical knowledge and a strong understanding of carpentry processes to support project execution and problem-solving.
- Provide leadership that fosters collaboration, accountability, and performance excellence across the team.
Qualifications
- Degree or diploma in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field.

5+ years of progressive project management experience, with proven success managing projects valued at $25M+.
- Strong knowledge of construction processes, building codes, and project delivery methods (General Contracting, Design-Build, and CM).

Solid understanding of carpentry processes and how they integrate into large-scale construction projects.
- Demonstrated ability to manage complex budgets, schedules, and reporting requirements.
- Proven leadership and team management skills with the ability to inspire and motivate.
- Strong communication and negotiation skills for managing clients, subcontractors, and stakeholders.
- Proficiency with project management software (Premiere, Fieldwire, or equivalent).
- Valid driver’s license and ability to travel across PEI as required.
