Title: Configuration Management Specialist - Level III 

Investigation Required: Tier 3 (Secret Clearance) 

Certifications: IAM II (Please see Section 3.0 Commercial Certificates for DoD 8570.01-M certificate requirement)

Experience: Six (6) years of progressive experience demonstrating the required proficiency. 

Responsibility: Configuration Management Specialist - Level III is responsible for the development, design and daily operational duties of the configuration control management planning. Assists and reviews identification of configurable items, change and status accounting, and configuration verification of configuration items. This position is also responsible for defining responsibilities as it relates to the configurable items. This position also assists with operation of the program support library. Level III performs more independent thinking and difficult tasks compared to Level II, and may supervise others.

Minimum Education: Bachelor’s degree and/or equivalency.
