Overview

We are seeking a Server Technician to provide on-site IT support for a rapidly growing industry leader in automotive and transportation energy storage systems. This role involves troubleshooting server hardware, supporting end-users, and ensuring the smooth operation of IT infrastructure. The position is based in Austin, TX and offers the opportunity to work on cutting-edge technology in a fast-paced environment.


Key Responsibilities

  • Perform basic to moderate troubleshooting of server hardware, diagnosing and resolving issues efficiently.
  • Provide technical support to end users in person, over the phone, or through remote support tools.
  • Address IT-related inquiries and technical issues, ensuring prompt and professional resolution.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to maintain and optimize server performance.


Qualifications & Skills

  • 1-3 years of experience in IT support or server administration.
  • Basic knowledge of server hardware components and troubleshooting.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks.
  • Ability to work independently and within a team environment.
  • Excellent communication skills, capable of interacting effectively with technical and non-technical users.
  • Strong customer service mindset, maintaining professionalism while resolving technical issues.


Education & Certifications

  • Associate’s or Bachelor's degree in IT or a related field preferred.
  • Relevant certifications (e.g., CompTIA, ITCA, ITIL) are a plus.
  • Experience using ticketing systems such as ServiceNow or Zendesk is preferred.


Physical Requirements

  • Frequent use of computer keyboards and IT equipment for extended periods.
  • Ability to sit or stand for prolonged durations.
  • Close vision required for reading technical materials and using computer monitors.
  • Must be able to walk, carry, and lift up to 25 lbs., with occasional lifting of up to 50 lbs.


Shifts Available

  • 1st Shift: 6 a.m. – 3 p.m.
  • 2nd Shift: 2 p.m. – 11 p.m.
  • 3rd Shift: 10 p.m. – 7 a.m.
