What You’ll Do

  • Receive and manage incoming technical support requests related to servers and infrastructure
  • Gather issue details using intake scripts, checklists, and troubleshooting workflows
  • Perform basic first-level troubleshooting using documented runbooks
  • Determine incident priority based on impact and urgency
  • Escalate tickets to the correct support team (server, network, hardware, infrastructure)
  • Maintain clear, accurate documentation in the ticketing system
  • Monitor support queues and meet response-time targets
  • Support continuity between 1st and 2nd shift operations
  • Learn enterprise tools, systems, and support processes
  • Help maintain a dependable technical operations environment

What You Bring

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Foundational understanding of IT systems, servers, hardware, networking, or technical troubleshooting
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to follow structured processes and runbooks
  • Attention to detail and documentation discipline
  • Calm, professional approach in a fast-paced support environment
  • Reliable, team-oriented mindset
  • Ability to work assigned 1st or 2nd shift schedule


Preferred (Not Required)

  • CompTIA ITF+, A+, Network+, Security+, or similar
  • Helpdesk or ticketing system experience
  • Military technical training
  • Technical school, college coursework, or homelab experience
