VetRamp is part of the team currently supporting the Defense Health Agency (DHA) IT environment at Brooke Army Medical Center (BAMC) in San Antonio, Texas, where the broader team supports more than 80 personnel. VetRamp is also part of a team pursuing DHA Geographic Service Provider (GSP) Task Order 8 (TO8), which will provide enterprise IT support services across 15 Military Treatment Facilities (MTFs) nationwide.
Six TO8 locations include designated Key Personnel (KP) positions that DHA has identified as critical to successful contract performance and operational continuity. These positions span service desk operations, systems administration, cybersecurity, network administration, and infrastructure support within mission-critical healthcare environments supporting active-duty service members, retirees, and their families.
We are currently identifying qualified professionals interested in these potential opportunities. The graphic below identifies the designated Key Personnel positions by site. Additional information regarding the task order, supported locations, and detailed job descriptions for each KP role follows.

1. Naval Hospital Pensacola, FL
KP Position: IT Service Desk Specialist – Level II
The IT Service Desk Specialist II serves as the lead service desk resource for Pensacola, responsible for coordinating day-to-day service desk operations, resolving escalated technical issues, supporting end users, and helping maintain operational continuity across the supported MTF environment.
Core Responsibilities
- Serve as a primary point of contact for service desk operations.
- Provide technical assistance for hardware, software, operating systems, and end-user device issues.
- Resolve moderate to highly complex technical issues escalated from Level I support.
- Coordinate ticket prioritization, escalation, and resolution.
- Support service desk overflow during peak periods or reduced staffing.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to improve service delivery and customer support.
- Support reporting, documentation, and performance objectives tied to TO8 requirements.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or approved equivalency.
- Four years of progressive IT service desk or deskside support experience.
- Tier 3 background investigation eligibility.
- DoD 8570 IAT II certification.
- Computing Environment certification for supported technology, as applicable.
- Strong communication, organizational, and customer-service skills.
- Ability to lead and coordinate service delivery teams.
2. Robins AFB, GA
KP Position: System Administrator – Level IV
The System Administrator IV serves as the senior technical and site coordination resource for Robins, responsible for managing and coordinating IT service delivery, supporting system administration activities, and ensuring contractor personnel meet performance and compliance requirements.
Core Responsibilities
- Manage and coordinate delivery of IT services at Robins.
- Oversee contractor personnel at the site and support compliance with PWS requirements.
- Serve as a primary liaison between Government and contractor teams.
- Administer and sustain server operating systems, enterprise applications, virtual environments, and endpoint support infrastructure.
- Support troubleshooting, scripting, system integration, networking coordination, and technical documentation.
- Assist with service reporting, performance monitoring, and issue escalation.
- Support operational continuity across IT domains.
Required Qualifications
- Master’s degree or approved equivalency.
- Ten years of relevant systems administration / IT operations experience as required by TO8.
- Tier 3 background investigation eligibility.
- DoD 8570 IAT III certification.
- Computing Environment certification for supported technology, as applicable.
- Experience managing multidisciplinary IT support teams.
- Ability to perform complex technical work with little supervision.
3. Naval Health Clinic Corpus Christi, TX
KP Position: Information Assurance/Security Specialist – Level IV
The Information Assurance/Security Specialist IV serves as the senior cybersecurity and information assurance resource for Corpus, responsible for leading cybersecurity compliance, risk management, security documentation, and coordination with Government stakeholders.
Core Responsibilities
- Lead implementation of information assurance and cybersecurity measures.
- Support compliance with DHA, DoD, RMF, NIST, and local security requirements.
- Assist system owners and ISSOs with security documentation, controls, and authorization support.
- Advise stakeholders on cybersecurity risks, mitigation actions, and compliance posture.
- Coordinate security-related activities across contractor and Government teams.
- Support vulnerability management, security reporting, and corrective action tracking.
- Help ensure operational continuity while maintaining security compliance.
Required Qualifications
- Master's degree or approved equivalency.
- Eight years of progressive information assurance / cybersecurity experience.
- Tier 3 background investigation eligibility.
- DoD 8570 IAT III and IAM III certifications.
- Computing Environment certification for supported technology, as applicable.
- Strong understanding of RMF, NIST, DoD cybersecurity practices, and security operations.
- Experience leading cybersecurity teams or coordinating security compliance activities.
4. Luke AFB, AZ
KP Position: System Administrator – Level III
The System Administrator III serves as the primary senior systems administration resource for Luke, responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and optimizing IT infrastructure supporting healthcare operations.
Core Responsibilities
- Administer and maintain servers, systems, enterprise applications, and endpoint support infrastructure.
- Troubleshoot complex system outages, performance issues, security incidents, and operational disruptions.
- Support virtual environments, system integration, scripting, and architecture recommendations.
- Maintain system documentation and support configuration management.
- Coordinate with Government stakeholders and enterprise support teams.
- Support lifecycle management, patching, account support, and system sustainment activities.
- Provide senior-level technical support with limited supervision.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or approved equivalency.
- Ten years of relevant systems administration experience as required by TO8.
- Tier 3 background investigation eligibility.
- DoD 8570 IAT II certification.

- Experience supporting servers, operating systems, networks, applications, and enterprise IT environments.
- Ability to resolve complex technical problems and support continuity of operations.
5. Naval Medical Center San Diego, CA
KP Position: Cable and Wiring Specialist – Level III
The Cable and Wiring Specialist III serves as the senior cabling and wiring expert for San Diego, responsible for planning, overseeing, installing, modifying, repairing, testing, and documenting copper and fiber infrastructure.
Core Responsibilities
- Install, modify, repair, and remove copper and optical fiber cabling.
- Perform end-to-end cable testing to verify functionality.
- Read and interpret engineering drawings, building diagrams, and cable plant documentation.
- Design and oversee cabling solutions for renovations, infrastructure upgrades, and new requirements.
- Serve as escalation point for complex cabling and wiring issues.
- Ensure cabling work follows applicable standards, safety protocols, and best practices.
- Document cabling infrastructure actions and maintain accurate records.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma, GED, or approved equivalency.
- Six years of cable and wiring experience.
- Tier 1 background investigation eligibility.
- DoD 8570 IAT II certification.
- Computing Environment certification as applicable.
- Certified Network Cable Installer certification.
- Knowledge of cabling standards, copper/fiber infrastructure, and cable testing practices.
6. Langley AFB, VA
KP Position: Network Administrator – Level II
The Network Administrator II serves as the lead network administration resource for Langley, responsible for supporting network infrastructure, coordinating network operations, and ensuring performance objectives are met across supported locations.
Core Responsibilities
- Install, configure, maintain, and troubleshoot network infrastructure.
- Support LAN, WAN, wireless, routing, switching, and network connectivity.
- Monitor network performance and assist with optimization.
- Coordinate network support activities with Government stakeholders and IT service delivery teams.
- Support issue escalation, documentation, and corrective action tracking.
- Help maintain network diagrams, configuration records, and operational documentation.
- Ensure network operations support performance objectives and continuity requirements.
Required Qualifications
