Level II AV & Security Installation Technician
Location: Belton, TX | Full-time | Day Dispatch | Limited Travel
This is a hands-on role focused on the installation of access control systems, surveillance, intrusion detection, and A/V infrastructure. Ideal candidates will bring real-world field experience—not theory—with a strong grasp of cabling, systems integration, and jobsite readiness. This is not an entry-level position. You should already know how to pull and terminate cable, mount and position equipment, and ensure systems go in right the first time.
🔧 What You’ll Do

Install & Configure Systems: Set up AV and low-voltage security hardware including cameras, access panels, intrusion sensors, and displays.

Cable Work: Run, pull, and terminate CAT6 and power cables to support system installs across varied environments.

System Integration: Ensure all components are connected, configured, and tested for proper operation—no loose ends or surprises.

Site Execution: Read plans, work with project leads, and meet timelines for field deployment. You’ll be trusted to get it done without hand-holding.

Support & Maintenance: While this role is mostly installation-focused, you’ll occasionally help diagnose or support systems post-install.

At least 1–2 years of AV/Security experience in the field—residential and commercial. You’ve done this before, and it shows.

Competence with cabling—you can confidently terminate CAT6 and power, mount devices cleanly, and troubleshoot physical installs.

Position: Level III AV & Security Technician – Field Lead
Location: Belton, TX | Full-time | Day Dispatch | Regional Travel Possible
This is a working lead position—you’ll supervise technicians on job sites while also getting hands-on with installations, integrations, and system checks. The ideal candidate brings deep technical expertise, natural leadership, and pride in doing the job right.

🔧 What You’ll Do

Lead the Crew: Oversee and guide 1–3 junior or mid-level techs on AV and low-voltage security system installs—keeping them on-task, trained, and moving efficiently.

Own the Site: Interpret scope, drawings, and client needs. Make field-level decisions to ensure clean execution.

Install, Configure & Verify: Set up and integrate access control, cameras, displays, intrusion detection, and related infrastructure. Validate connectivity and system operation before handoff.

Quality Control: Perform checks at key milestones to ensure work meets internal and customer standards.

Field Troubleshooting: Be the escalation point when systems don’t behave. Diagnose and resolve issues on-site or coordinate with vendors when necessary.

Position: Security Systems Service Technician
Location: Belton, TX | Full-time | Primarily Local Dispatch | On-Call Rotation
This role is geared toward individuals who know their way around CCTV, access control, intrusion alarms, and IP-based security systems and who take pride in fast, clean, and accurate service delivery.
This is not an install role—you’ll be diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining operational systems at client locations, often under time constraints or after previous vendors have dropped the ball.
🔧 What You’ll Do

Respond to Service Calls: Quickly assess and resolve security system issues in the field, including access control failures, camera outages, alarm errors, and software hiccups.

Diagnose & Repair: Pinpoint the source of a problem—whether it’s a faulty device, wiring issue, or config error—and fix it on the spot or coordinate parts/replacement.

System Testing & Optimization: Conduct regular system checks to ensure everything is running as it should. Recommend and implement performance enhancements where appropriate.

Client Interaction: Explain issues and resolutions in clear, professional terms. You’ll be the face of the company for many clients, and their go-to for answers.

Documentation: Log every call, test result, repair, and upgrade using internal tools. Keep service records clean and actionable for future visits.

System Upgrades: Recommend hardware or software updates when needed to keep client environments modern and secure.

On-Call Availability: Rotate into the on-call schedule for emergency service needs—especially for critical systems down scenarios.
