Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree preferred (or equivalent experience).

7+ years of experience in technology leadership.

5+ years of managerial experience leading technical teams.
- Proven success in e-commerce technology strategy and digital transformation, supporting at least $50M+ in revenue.
- Strong knowledge of e-commerce platforms, cloud technologies, APIs, security standards, data analytics, middleware, and IT budgeting.
- Must be available for on-call support as needed.
Summary
The Director of Technology oversees the development, optimization, and implementation of e-commerce technology solutions to support business growth. This role leads a team of engineers and developers to ensure scalable, efficient, and secure systems that enhance the customer experience and drive operational excellence. The primary technologies include Azure, Google Suite, NetSuite, Salesforce, and Shopify across Mac and Windows environments.
This position is onsite in Waco, Texas, reporting to the Vice President of Technology and Supply Chain, with supervisory responsibilities.
Key Responsibilities
- Align technology strategy with business objectives, collaborating with leadership.
- Develop and execute a multi-year roadmap for e-commerce technology.
- Oversee system architecture, design, and implementation to ensure performance and scalability.
- Optimize e-commerce platforms and associated technologies to enhance customer experience and efficiency.
- Ensure compliance with security standards (e.g., PCI-DSS, GDPR) and develop business continuity protocols.
- Monitor industry trends and emerging technologies to drive innovation.
- Utilize KPIs, analytics, and performance metrics for data-driven decision-making.
- Manage vendor relationships and procure cost-effective technology solutions.
- Implement best practices in project management, including Agile, Scrum, and Waterfall methodologies.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
