Position(s): Municipal Practice Lead
Location: Fort Worth, TX & Houston, TX (two separate openings)
Job Summary
Providence Partners is looking for a Municipal Practice Lead to become a part of our customer's Fort Worth/Houston (TX) team. The chosen candidate will be responsible for overseeing and coordinating municipal projects within their Fort Worth office, which involves the management of a diverse portfolio of projects for clients in the Fort Worth/Houston area. Collaboration and coordination with design engineers and technicians from various disciplines are key aspects of this role. Additionally, the Municipal Practice Lead will engage in outreach and marketing efforts to secure projects from municipalities in the greater metro area.
Job Responsibilities
- Lead and execute projects for municipalities in the Fort Worth/Houston area.
- Manage projects within budget and according to agreed-upon schedules with minimal supervision.
- Prepare technical documents, including drainage reports, project deliverables, field reports, and design documentation.
- Demonstrate a commitment to actively participate in our employee-owned culture.
Qualifications
- A Bachelor's degree in civil engineering or an equivalent qualification from an ABET/EAC accredited program.
- Texas Professional Engineer certification is mandatory.
- A minimum of 15+ years of experience working on projects related to local municipalities in the greater metro area.
Skills
- Proven experience in team building and leadership.
- Proficiency in MicroStation is a required skill.
- Familiarity with ProjectWise is a plus.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office software, including Word and Excel, is essential.
