WHAT’S THE JOB?

This company is a leading designer and manufacturer of luxury sustainable cabins. As they continue to scale globally they are in need of a Head of Operations to oversee manufacturing, supply chain, and customer operations across Europe and the Middle East, while collaborating closely with our partners in the USA and Asia.

This role is central to ensuring operational excellence, scalability, and profitability, while safeguarding the signature aesthetic and design ethos. You will play a hands-on role in Europe while providing strategic leadership and building out a strong operational foundation for our global growth.

This position is ideally based in Germany in either Berlin or Stuttgart and hybrid/remote.

WHAT WILL YOU DO?

• Strategy & Leadership
• Develop and execute the global operations strategy with a focus on scalability.
• Act as the bridge between global leadership and regional teams.
• Manufacturing & Production
• Ensure consistent delivery of design ethos across all production routes.
• Oversee cabin facilities to ensure safe, cost-effective, and timely production.
• Drive lean manufacturing and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Oversee post-production documentation (e.g., O&M Manuals).
• Supply Chain & Logistics
• Manage end-to-end supply chain, including procurement, vendor management, and distribution.
• Optimise global logistics for efficient, on-time delivery.
• Build strong supplier relationships to ensure resilience and cost efficiency.
• Project Delivery & Customer Operations
• Guarantee on-time delivery, installation, and servicing of modular cabins.
• Oversee customer operations and after-sales support.
• Maintain long-term client satisfaction and relationships.
• Financial & Performance Management
• Own and manage operational budgets to ensure profitability and margin improvements.
• Monitor KPIs (production efficiency, cost per unit, delivery performance, utilisation rates).
• Lead global inventory reporting and optimisation.
• Provide insights to leadership, highlighting risks, opportunities, and trends.
• Implement tools for project, manufacturing, compliance, and people management.
• People & Culture
• Lead, mentor, and grow diverse operational teams across multiple countries.
• Build and shape a growing European team (currently 4, expanding rapidly).
• Foster a culture of accountability, safety, and continuous improvement.
• Compliance & Risk
• Ensure adherence to HSE standards and regulatory compliance (ISO, CE).
• Identify and mitigate operational and supply chain risks.
• Innovation & Sustainability
• Champion sustainability across manufacturing, logistics, and product lifecycle.
• Collaborate with R&D on feasibility of new designs and materials.
• Lead digital transformation initiatives (ERP, IoT, predictive analytics).

WHO ARE YOU?

• 7+ years in operations leadership, ideally within modular construction, construction, or industrial manufacturing.
• Proven success in managing multi-juristication operations.
• Strong background in supply chain, logistics, and large-scale project delivery.
• Financial acumen with experience in budgeting, KPI management, and cost optimisation.
• Knowledge of EMEA regulatory requirements, HSE, and quality standards.
• Strong leadership and people management in multicultural environments.
• ERP systems and digital transformation expertise.
• Strategic thinker with a hands-on, execution-driven approach.
• Thrives in high-growth, fast-paced environments.

NICE TO HAVE:

• Lean, Six Sigma, or equivalent process improvement certification.
• Experience in modular manufacturing or hospitality-focused construction.
