Salary Bracket: €35,000 - €45,000 ( there may be some flexibility)
WHAT'S THE JOB
If you’re a graphic designer who thinks beyond the brief, this could be a very good fit.
We're partnering with a multidisciplinary design studio to find a Graphic Designer with excellent conceptual ability and the confidence to work directly with clients.
This is not a role for someone who simply takes a brief and produces artwork. You'll be expected to think, develop ideas and bring concepts to life, translating strategy and brand stories into creative work that works across physical and digital touchpoints.
You'll be involved from the early stages of a project through to final delivery, working closely with the studio team and clients. Being comfortable presenting your thinking, explaining creative decisions and taking feedback is just as important as having strong design skills.
WHAT WILL YOU DO
- Develop creative concepts and visual identities across a range of client projects.
- Take ideas from initial concept through to polished, production-ready design.
- Translate brand strategy, positioning and storytelling into compelling visual work.
- Develop branding, campaign concepts and creative assets across print and digital.
- Create presentations, pitch decks, brand guidelines, brochures, menus, signage and other branded materials.
- Develop creative concepts for hospitality, retail, wellness, lifestyle and commercial clients.
- Work across both physical and digital brand touchpoints, ensuring a consistent visual language.
- Present concepts and creative work confidently to clients and internal stakeholders.
- Listen to client feedback, challenge briefs where appropriate and develop solutions that meet the wider business objective.
- Collaborate with interior designers, strategists, artists, copywriters and other creative specialists.
- Work closely with the studio team throughout the creative and development process.
- Research trends, culture, competitors and emerging visual styles to keep ideas fresh and relevant.
- Prepare artwork for print and digital production, ensuring a high level of attention to detail.
- Manage multiple projects and deadlines while maintaining a consistently high creative standard.
WHAT CAN YOU DO
- Have proven experience as a Graphic Designer, ideally within a creative, branding or design agency environment.
- Have an excellent portfolio demonstrating strong conceptual thinking, not just technical design ability.
- Be able to develop an idea from a blank page and explain the thinking behind your creative decisions.
- Have a strong understanding of branding, typography, layout, colour, composition and visual storytelling.
- Be confident designing across both print and digital formats.
- Be comfortable presenting your work and communicating directly with clients.
- Have the confidence to take ownership of a project while knowing when to collaborate and ask for input.
- Be commercially aware and able to understand that good design needs to work for the client's business as well as look great.
- Have excellent attention to detail and a high standard of design craft.
- Be highly organised and comfortable managing multiple projects and deadlines.
- Have strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Be confident using Adobe Creative Suite, particularly InDesign, Illustrator and Photoshop.
- Bring curiosity, creativity and a genuine interest in design, culture, brands and people.
BONUS IF YOU ALSO HAVE:
- Experience working across hospitality, interiors, retail, lifestyle or luxury brands.
- Experience with art direction, photography or motion/animation.
- Experience developing full brand identities from concept through to implementation.
- Understanding of environmental graphics, signage or spatial branding.
- Experience working with premium or international brands.
