They’re trusted by local and international clients in highly regulated industries like iGaming, financial services, shipping, and aviation, and now they’re looking for a Senior Legal Advisor to join their stellar Legal Team.

This position is hybrid based in Malta.

WHAT WILL YOU DO?

• Legal Mastery: Provide expert legal and regulatory advice to clients in iGaming and other regulated industries, helping them stay compliant, confident, and competitive.
• Contract Wizardry: Draft, review, and negotiate a wide range of commercial agreements, from supplier contracts and licensing deals to white-label agreements and IP matters.
• Regulation Guru: Advise clients on licensing requirements, compliance obligations, and key regulatory frameworks across the iGaming sector and beyond.
• Authority Liaison: Communicate directly with regulatory bodies like the Malta Gaming Authority, acting as a trusted representative for clients.
• Deal Maker: Support clients through mergers, acquisitions, restructures, and other commercial projects that shape their business future.
• Risk Strategist: Offer insight on risk management, regulatory developments, and emerging business opportunities within regulated markets.
• Law Watcher: Stay up-to-date with Maltese and EU legal developments, and make sure your team and clients are always in the know.
• Knowledge Sharer: Prepare and present client updates, briefings, and presentations that make complex legal topics clear and actionable.
• Team Collaborator: Work hand-in-hand with CSB’s Compliance, Tax, and Corporate Services teams to deliver seamless, end-to-end solutions.
• Mentorship Maven: Support and guide junior team members, encouraging collaboration, learning, and professional growth.

WHO ARE YOU?

• Experienced Advisor: At least 3 years of experience in a legal or advisory role, ideally in a regulated environment.
• Qualified Professional: LL.D and/or M.Adv (or equivalent EU/EEA qualification) with a valid Maltese warrant to practice law.
• Corporate Expert: Deep knowledge of Maltese commercial, corporate, and regulatory frameworks, with a special focus on iGaming or other regulated sectors.
• Contract Craftsman: A proven track record of drafting and negotiating watertight commercial contracts.
• Regulatory Connector: Experience liaising with authorities like the Malta Gaming Authority? Big plus.
• Business-Minded: You see beyond the law, offering practical, commercial advice that helps businesses grow.
• Language Ace: Fluent in English (both written and spoken); Maltese is a lovely bonus!
