The Mitigation Manager must be able to respond, sell, and successfully manage water mitigation projects for both residential and commercial.
Other Responsibilities Include:
· Managing all communications with insurance carriers and clients regarding mitigation
· Accurately tracking payroll of our employees and contracted workers
· Following established safety rules and regulations
· Maintaining a safe and clean environment for the employees
· Establishing and maintaining relationships with agents and adjustors
· Training and guiding the mitigation technician team members through the mitigation process
· Monitoring guidelines and profitability of specific insurance programs.
· Creating accurate scopes of work and creating profitable estimates based on this scope of work
· Evaluating team member performance
· Completing necessary paperwork to record all job notes and utilizing proprietary software
· Any other duties assigned by the manager
Qualifications:
· Either Associates Degree or equivalent 2-3 years of experience in emergency mitigation services required
· IICRC certification in Water (WRT), Advanced Structural Drying (ASD) and Carpet Cleaning (CCT) preferred
· Xactimate experience preferred
· Excellent computer skills, including but not limited to: MS-Excel, Word, and Outlook
· Willingness to work on-call rotation to handle water losses
· Ability to understand and comply with all policies and procedures., attendance, conduct and so forth as documented in the Employee Handbook.
