Vale Group has partnered with a company in the aviation manufacturing industry, based in Chatsworth, CA, who is actively searching for an experienced Electrical Design Engineer to work onsite for an opportunity paying $85,000 to $110,000 annually, based on experience. This position offers a dynamic environment for engineers passionate about contributing to every stage of a product's life cycle—from design and development to production and launch.

Schedule: Monday - Thursday 7am-5:30pm PST. FRIDAYS OFF!

Requirements of the Design Engineer:

● Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or computer engineering.

● 2+ years of experience in electronics hardware design (academic, internship, or professional).

● 2+ years of experience using electrical test equipment (e.g., oscilloscopes, multimeters).

● Familiarity with schematic capture and PCB layout software.

● Knowledge of ANSI Y14.5 standards and tolerance analysis is a plus.

● Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools.

● Self-motivated with excellent communication and organizational skills.

Responsibilities of the Design Engineer:

● Design, develop, and enhance hardware, including PCBAs, to improve reliability and manufacturability.

● Own avionics hardware for flight systems through all stages of the product life cycle.

● Investigate and resolve production issues through root cause analysis and risk mitigation.

● Drive updates to schematics and mechanical drawings to enhance performance.

● Create and execute hardware validation tests using benchtop and environmental testing setups.

● Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to identify opportunities for improvement in processes and products.
