Vale Group has partnered with an established design & development firm based in Austin, TX on a strategic search for a Project Architect to work ON-SITE for an opportunity paying between $100 - $115K annually based on experience and credentials. Must be ARE registered in the state of Texas.


The ideal candidate is an experienced and creative Registered Architect with experience in the design of institutional buildings such as schools, libraries, hospitals, campuses, etc. Proficiency in Revit, Sketchup, and similar design software is preferred.

Project Architect Requirements:

  • Registered Architect in the state of Texas: Required
  • 5+ years of relevant experience in architectural project management and design, preferably in institutional buildings.
  • Demonstrate a passion for creative design and an ability to contribute innovative ideas to projects.
  • Collaborate effectively with both internal and external team members, fostering a collaborative work environment.
  • Proficiency in various software tools, including Revit Architecture, Microsoft Word & Excel, Bluebeam, and Sketchup.
  • Express a desire to continue personal and professional development while contributing to the growth of the firm.


Project Architect Responsibilities:

  • Actively participate as a team member in the development of projects, overseeing them from the initial programming and conceptual design phases through to the completion of construction administration.
  • Prepare project construction documents, ensuring accuracy and compliance with project requirements.
  • Collaborate and coordinate with consultants, contractors, owners, and fellow team members to ensure effective project execution.
  • Conduct thorough code reviews and ensure compliance with relevant building codes and regulations.
  • Review and assess shop drawings, project submittals, and other documentation for adherence to project specifications.
