We are seeking a qualified Electrical Engineer to work onsite for an opportunity paying up to a competitive salary, based on experience which is located in Whippany, NJ. This role is ideal for someone looking to impact both the military and civilian aerospace sectors through innovative design and engineering. The successful candidate will be involved in the development of advanced aerial lifting and pulling devices, playing a crucial role in enhancing the safety and efficiency of rescue and cargo operations.

Requirements of the Electrical Engineer:

● Minimum of a Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field from an accredited institution.

● Extensive knowledge and professional experience in aerospace electrical systems, including actuator and sensor development.

● Experience with analog and processor-based motion controls.

● Proficiency in software tools such as Altium Designer or OrCAD.

● Strong problem-solving skills and excellent time management abilities.

● Superior written and verbal communication skills.

● Experience with SPI, Ethernet, ARINC 429, and other related communication protocols.


Responsibilities of the Electrical Engineer:

● Lead the design and implementation of embedded processor control platforms.

● Contribute to all phases of electrical design, from concept through implementation, including power systems and EMI/RFI compliance.

● Provide expert analysis of complex engineering issues and develop effective solutions.

● Oversee and coordinate the efforts of other engineers and design teams on major projects.

● Engage in the testing and qualification of aerospace components to military standards.

● Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to meet project-specific technical objectives.

● Support production and troubleshooting of electrical systems in ongoing manufacturing processes.

● Maintain diligent documentation and report preparation for developmental and operational protocols.
