Vale Group has partnered with a prominent accounting firm, seeking a skilled Remote Tax Accountant to join their dynamic team in the NE Region. As a Tax Accountant, you will play a crucial role in handling a variety of tax-related tasks for different entities. This includes preparing complex returns, reviewing simple returns, and responding to IRS and State Tax notices. Salary DOE 80-95k

Responsibilities:

• Prepare complex returns for various entities.
• Review simple returns for a variety of entities, including estimated tax for individuals and corporations.
• Respond to IRS and State Tax notices.
• Monitor work flow of returns to ensure budget guidelines are met.
• Perform and document research on tax issues.
• Prepare and review tax returns for C Corporation, S Corporation, Partnership, Qualified Plans, International Tax, Estate and Gift Tax, and Individual tax.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting.
• 3-5 years of public accounting experience.
• Hold an active CPA license or are pursuing.
• Excellent interpersonal and client relationship skills.
• Ability to be flexible and adapt to unique client needs.
• Strong proficiency with computer software applications.
