Vale Group has partnered with a growing regional Accounting firm with deep roots in the OC for over 100 years, who is actively searching for an experienced Estate and Trust Partner for an opportunity paying $155,000 - $220,000 annually, based on experience. This role is ideal for someone with a strong background in Trust services, fiduciary income tax returns, estate tax, estate planning, and proven experience in Trust & Estate. Requirements of the Partner:  

  • CPA or JD required; additional certifications like CFP, CFA, or LLM in Taxation preferred.
  • Minimum of 10+ years of experience in trust and estate planning, tax compliance, and advisory services.
  • Proven leadership experience in a public accounting firm or equivalent professional setting.
  • Strong technical knowledge of estate, gift, and trust tax laws.
  • Exceptional client relationship management and business development skills.
  • Strong interpersonal, organizational, and leadership capabilities.



Responsibilities of the Partner:  

Leadership and Strategy

  • Develop and implement strategies to grow the trust and estate division’s client base and revenue.
  • Serve as a trusted advisor to high-net-worth clients, families, and fiduciaries.
  • Collaborate with other practice areas to deliver integrated tax, estate, and financial planning services.

Client Advisory

  • Advise clients on complex estate, gift, and trust tax issues, including multi-generational wealth transfers and philanthropic strategies.
  • Provide technical expertise in federal and state tax laws affecting trusts and estates.
  • Develop estate plans to minimize tax liabilities and optimize wealth preservation.

Practice Development

  • Lead client acquisition initiatives through networking, seminars, and speaking engagements.
  • Build and maintain relationships with attorneys, financial advisors, and other referral sources.
  • Identify market trends and opportunities to expand the division’s offerings.

Team Leadership and Development

  • Manage, mentor, and develop a team of tax professionals specializing in trusts and estates.
  • Foster a culture of continuous learning and excellence within the division.
  • Oversee workload allocation and ensure compliance with deadlines and quality standards.
