Vale Group has partnered with a leading company in the civil construction industry based in Miami, FL (33143), who is actively searching for an experienced FDOT Projects Field Maintenance Tech. This role involves maintaining and repairing tools and equipment used on construction sites for roadway and bridge projects. The position is based on-site, ensuring that all equipment is in optimal working condition to support efficient and safe construction operations.
Salary Range: $65k - $95k annually, based on experience. Must be well versed with FDOT (roadway / bridges) projects

Requirements of the FDOT Projects Field Maintenance Tech:
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in maintaining roadway construction tools and heavy equipment
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical certifications preferred
- Knowledge of construction equipment such as excavators, loaders, compressors, and generators
- Ability to troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems
- Strong understanding of safety regulations and practices
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
- Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions
Responsibilities of the FDOT Projects Field Maintenance Tech:
- Inspect, maintain, and repair tools and equipment used on roadway and bridge construction sites
- Conduct routine maintenance checks and ensure compliance with safety standards
- Diagnose and troubleshoot issues with construction equipment and perform necessary repairs
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and repairs
- Assist in the procurement of replacement parts and tools as needed
- Coordinate with site supervisors and project managers to schedule maintenance activities
- Provide training to construction crew members on proper equipment usage and maintenance
- Ensure that maintenance tools and supplies are properly stored and organized
